If you don’t have the facilities to design your tooling then this is where Stuma can step in. From a 2D or 3D file we can design the tooling in house so that you can be sure that it is fit for volume production.

Our experienced tool designers look at every aspect of the design. This includes tool material selection to suit the material of the product and it's anticipated volumes, gating methods, and ejector positions (where early input from the customer on product aesthetics is essential).

We are also mindful to identify off the shelf components that ensure reliability and ease of maintenance throughout the life of the tool.

All this is done in conjunction with our project management team, to ensure that the tool is designed in context with the specific characteristics of the product in question, and to guarantee quality performance for the life of the project.
